Worldeka came to us to develop and implement their social networking site with a conscience.

What we did
- Scoping and strategy
- User interface design
- Social network modules
- Bespoke web development
Social networks have the power to unite thousands of us with a common goal, and Worldeka is harnessing that power! Their website is about networking with a social conscience, a virtual meeting point for people and organisations to oil the wheels of social change.
Yoomee took brand identity developed by international heavyweights Landor and crafted a bold, bright website balancing usability and visual appeal. The site features member profiles, groups, events, video content, posting walls, activity feeds and much more.
"The idea is that charities, NGOs, policy makers and individuals can use these tools to pool resources, get involved or share opportunities", said Charlie Cox, Worldeka founder. "Working with Yoomee has been a pleasure - they've been really accommodating, tirelessly tweaking the site so we're ready to change the world."
After the site was launched, Worldeka was one of 35 new companies chosen by the UK Government and Digital Mission to be taken to America and promoted as one of the best new websites created in Britain in 2008. And the future looks bright too - once established in the UK, Worldeka is looking to develop sites for the US, Europe and beyond.
